Default got plates

I couldn't wait until Saturday morning so I left work early on Friday afternoon to get my plates. I spent all night Friday cruising around Indy. I really love this car.

I can't believe how much attention it gets. At the gas station last night I had a couple people walk over from other pumps to ask about it. Of coarse I left it idling so everyone could hear it. With the cam it doesn't really sound so much like a vette but more like a late 60's muscle car.

My 300ZX TT I sold made crazy HP, probably more then the vette but the torque difference just in normal to moderate driving is soooo much more fun.

I'm looking forward to better weather and meeting some other vette owners this spring. Thanks for the welcome and I'm sure I'll be around on the forums.

Welcome to the FORUM!!! This is a great place with really amazing and knowledgeable folks that are willing to help you in any way they can. It's also a great place to show off you Z06, so post some pictures when you get a chance.

Good to hear that things are going well.

Default 300zx

My last car was a 91 300ZX TT. It had HKS2530 turbos and all the supporting goods. It was ~400 wheel on pump and about ~500 wheel on race fuel. It was a lot of fun but turbo lag sucks, especially around town. Sub 4k rpms and the car makes very little HP at all.

I assume there's some guys around here that dislike the "rice" factor. Some of the guys in cars like those or the supra's can be real jerks. Not all of them but I've met a few. I wondered how people would be on this forum. So far everyone seems really helpful.

One of my best friends has basically the same car but taken to the furthest extreme. I helped him put his motor back in last weekend from his latest build. I'm excited to see the dyno results, it doesn't mean much with out the data but it should be 650-700 wheel.

I learned so much about those cars working on them over the last couple years but was ready to move back into something else. I look forward to learning more about the C5 Z06. I am sure I will have lots of questions in the tech forums later on.
