Default Quick Question on Wipers

I saw an ad on tv that there's this new flex design wiper that supposedly works way better than others.

Seeing how both of my wipers now have ripped, I need to buy some new ones.

1) Does anyone know the exact sizes I need? I have no immediate access to my car as it's in storrage. I was hoping to order a pair online since I'm at work, and just have it shipped to me.

2) What brand do you folks recommend for durability?

I normally don't drive my car in the rain, but I do need to clean the windshield from time to time.

Still have the factory on mine sorry but if it means anything I was considering the Rain X wipers when I need new ones. I also heard that the Bosch wipers are very good.

You might be referring to Bosch ICON wipers. I don't know the C5's size but I have them on my daily driver and they are outstanding.

The wipers are 22 inch, both sides. I recomend Trico Exact Fit # 22-1.

I bought some of those fancy flex type last weekend for my 04 yukon. Wanted something that wouldn't freeze up solid in the next ice/snow storm I have to drive in. No rain since I put them on but they did a good job the other day when I used the washer...
I'll get another set for the vette a little later, it's a DD so it gets wet all the time, even drove it in a light snow storm the other day, no problems. The defroster worked very well....

Thanks guys. I'll take a look at the Bosch ICON wipers since a few of you agreed on those. I appreciate the help.

Bosch Icons without question. One of my favorite products on my vette. Installation is scary easy too. I think mine are the 422A and 422B blades. Double check that. I picked mine up at autozone locally, but I know they are all over the web too.

I just found what I was looking for. I know it took a while but my car really isn't in use since there's snow on the ground. I just purchased them for 50 bucks including shipping. It comes with Rain-X "visibility set".

Includes:
  • 14 oz. Foaming Glass Cleaner
  • 16 oz. Original Treatment Spray
  • Microfiber Towel

Here's a quick video about the wipers (edit: which doesn't seem to be working with the forum code. just click the link)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s639VTyA4OE

And here's a link. They make it super easy to find the correct size for your car.

http://www.rainx.com/Products/Wiper_.../Selector.aspx

Just be careful when reading the years. They made it confusing.
Ie, C5's are "2004-1997" rather than 1997-2004.

Should arrive in 2-4 weeks. Luckily I'm in no rush.
