old plates wanted.

So far I have about 12 plates, either on the way or already in my possession. I will make my first St. Jude plate donation of $75.00 , keep them coming so I can donate more on the plate donation ! and thank you everyone for doing this . I have 1 Texas plate if some one wants to trade, and should have 2 more in about 3 weeks.

I've got come custom plates on their way to me... If I can get by without having to hand over my current plates to the DMV when the new plates come in, I'll send ya one...
An alternative exists in an older plate I have from an old Miata. The plate has some damage... a 1-inch gash across the middle from getting rear-ended. it doesn't go through the plate but does scrape across a digit. The rest of the plate is good. It is square and flat; and sports the phrase "AV8 AK".
Actually I just remembered I took a picture after getting crunched... it would be this plate here... the damage is seen on the "8" digit, lower half.
I can send that older plate anytime; but I won't know if I can get an extra new plate for you until my custom plates arrive, in who knows how long. Let me know if you'd like it! Otherwise I'll work on getting you a cleaner, newer plate (which would be a 50th Anniv. Alaska plate).

I received my new Alaska plates so I have my old ones standing by. Only issue is, when I opened the envelope for my new plates, they included a letter from DMV asking if I could pretty please turn in my old plates. I found it odd that they didn't flat out say I MUST return them; the language was strongly suggestive at best. So.... I want to find out if they can actually DO anything If I "forget" to return them... or perhaps I can just return one and say I lost the other. I'll let you know how that goes!

Bill I have personalized plates coming. As faras I know the expired regular plates are mine to get rid of. You want? Can send both front and rear - you donate to St Jude. Sent PM.

and thanks! So far I have made a $75.00 plate donation for the fist 8 or so plates,,, since then I have not got any more but I did buy about 5 plates online.... would rather it go to St.Jude
