Default First Wave Today

I finally got my first Vette a week ago and weather has been bad so I really haven't driven it. So I was driving today and came across another Vette and he waved and I waved back. I know it sounds silly to the rest of you but that was exciting to me. I'm very happy to be a part of the Vette family.

Yeah it's great to get waves. I got lots last summer.

You're lucky though as I haven't even seen a Vette for almost five months. Even mine. It was around the first of November when mine went into storage. We've got a raging blizzard happening right now and it'll be Late April before I lay eyes on mine again.

Here's another wave for ya -

Just looked at your profile Mid America Motorworks is having a swap meet and low speed autocross(about 55mph) in April. My club(lookingglass corvette club) has some group get togethers on some of the test and tune nights at Gateway if youd be interested, GENE

One of the great things about owning a Vette

Wish I got more waves but Vettes are a tad scarce around here

You know it's funny, I've had my vette for about 9 months and it hasn't gotten old. I actually bought it from my father who moved on after this being his 4th vette.(gotta keep it in the family) When we first got it, my wife thought it was weird but then funny that people wave. I explained it's just a mutual sign of respect for people that recognize what a great car the corvette is and what an honor (at least for me considering the cars I've had before) it is to own one. I enjoy every single day in my vette as it's my DD and look forward to learning a lot about it through this forum. So it's cool to get/give a wave, and when they don't wave back and I figure it's just someone who went out and bought a fancy sports car and doesn't quite understand. That's too bad...........
