Actually, the registration on Friday was from 12-4pm. Show car parking was from 3-5. Usually Friday is for early setup, but most cars do not show up until Saturday, as was the case this year. I cannot answer for Friday, as I arrived on Saturday. The pictures I posted were from Saturday, and as you can see there were plenty of cars there. If you spent Saturday with Mickey Mouse, you missed a hell of a show.

Factory Reproductions, K & N Engineering or Southern Performance Warehouse

Since you and Stu obviously saw more than I did, I can only ask, did all that happen later? As I said in the first post, one of the vendors did say that more cars would be coming later in the day (didn't say anything about more vendors). Is there some trick to the scheduling that isn't advertised?
Op, I have no idea why you are posting non truths about ecklers attendance at the Celebration Show. What's the reasons for this??

Here is the REAL scoop:

First off, let me introduce myself. I'm Chuck St. John. I have been with Ecklers for the last 19 years, and I'm also on the Ecklers show team.

There were about 25 of us working this show, including ME. We all arrived Thursday, to start setting up. Friday, we all arrived at our Ecklers trailer at 7:30 am. It took us about an hour or so to set up the vendors with their products. We were opened for business by 9am, and closed up at 4:30pm . Not once, during this time were we away from our booth.

Saturday: We all arrived at 7am, and stayed at our booths until 4:45pm. We didn't get to leave until about 6:30pm. The folks at Celebration, said we had to vacate no later than 7pm.

You say Van Steel was not there?? The owner Art and I are good friends, and yes...was there all day Fri-Sat. C-Magic, Be Cool, Factory Reproductions, K & N Engineering or Southern Performance Warehouse, were all there....all day!

What I find interesting in your post, is you do say there was a company selling Corvette wheels. Yet you say you didn't see Factory Reproductions. They were the ones who had the wheels on display.

On the last picture below, you can clearly see our laptops to the left of our trailer.

So my question for you OP. Where were you....really??

The car show and judging was on Saturday.

The locations was great for the wife as there were shopping and plenty of places to eat. The black car that was mentioned , was there for only one reason, and that was to have a car cover on it that the vender was showing. He actually had to different types of covers on display. I took a lot of pictures and will post some later today.
Oh one other thing I took 3rd place in class I Street, that was comprised of 27 cars.

Congrats on 3rd place!
...wish I could have had more time to get around to see folks...
...but when youre in the show...you are pretty much stuck with the one that brung ya

My past experiences with Ecklers are not memorable; and I am not associated with the company... I'm just a customer.

If the show was advertised to be up & running on Friday; then there should be a requirement that the booth vendors be setup and running by the published starting time.

This type of requirement is almost impossible to require at shows like Carlisle; but the ones the size of this event - I really can't see why Friday was listed at a valid show date if the vendors weren't there in full force at the starting time.

Oh well; sounds like the location this year caused some of the problems. Maybe next year it will be better - back at it's normal location.

Were you there?? Some of the vendors were delayed early Friday due to very poor weather (rain and high winds). Some things just can't be controlled.

Like all of Ecklers reunion shows. Friday is NOT the day for the main car show....Saturday is.

On the Labor day weekend, a local city has their gala event; complete with car show. It too runs from Friday thur Sunday. But the car show aspect was sooo spotty on Fridays; that they now list the car show part as being "Saturday and Sunday". Oh yes; some cars are still there on Friday; but no one attending there on Friday has any expectations of a car show being held on that day.

Good, usuable information - that's all people need.

Yep, we were there all day Friday and Saturday. 31 years as a Corvette Vendor hardly seems "generic".

As I stated in my previous post it was a great show. I wish it was going to be there again next year, but I understand Ecklers need to have it on their property, So I will make the trip over.
I left my list at home on Saturday, so I was not able to place an order, glad to see I can still do it this week, plus the gift certificate I received as part of the award will let me add a little to my list. It is probably better this way, as I had my wife with me and I'm sure she would have kept on eye on my order. Now I just simple place the order and it shows up at home.

P.S. Glad to see you at the show Art, Linda also enjoyed talking with you. Say hi to Danny.

Fine BeeGee, then you tell me, who has a bigger reason to falsify their account of the "show"? Me or a guy that has been with Ecklers for 19 years and on the ecklers show team?

I was there at NOON on Friday. Your advertisements said the show was for TWO days, FRIDAY and SATURDAY. I chose to come Friday. When I got there at noon, your booth wasn't there, there were only five or six vendors there and eight cars. I NEVER said or implied that more did not show later, although you have consistently avoided the issue on time.

If you only wanted the show to run for Saturday, then your ads should've said that. If you say it's going to be open at 11:00 on Friday, then I shouldn't come there at noon to see eight cars, one of which hadn't even been washed, a half-dozen vendors and you nowhere around.

I don't work for Ecklers, I don't work for your competition. I am not a disgruntled customer with an axe to grind. My ONLY motivation here was to warn my fellow members not to travel all the way to Orlando expecting to see a good show.

We have already established what YOUR motivation here is, so don't start questioning MY credibility. I'm not the one collecting a paycheck from them.
