Tom,

Sent you a pm. Love the look, still debating on whether to do this myself or avoid the hassle and get a set of yours. Can I ask which LED strips are you using? One of the thin 12" ones from Oznium.com and then cutting it down? I've already got the door handle LED's and the underneath door panel courtesy LED's wired to the footwells, so figure can just splice into one of those inside the door so should be an easy install.

That would be a very easy install if you've already tapped into the footwell lights for the courtesy strips. Its up to you, send me yours or I have a kit ready to send out!

I got my set from Tom but don't know where to tap into the footwell wire. Can someone please post a photo or send me a PM so I can complete this install?

Thanks

either pop down the clear light cover or pull down the whole access panel.

there are 2 wires that go to the light bulb. one orange and one black. tap the black to the black and the other to the orange. very simple.

Default led courtesy lights.

Absolutely!!What color do you want ? I only have red or blue at this time. Since the wires have to pass through the small square rubber plug on the bottom of the door I cant really put a connector on the courtesy lights. What are you comfortable with?? Soldering them to the door reflector light wires or do you want a connector splitting off the reflectors so you can use butt connectors to finish the wiring?? Let me know. Cost?? I'm pricing the courtesy lights at $30 when ordered with the door reflectors. Hope that works for you!!Thanks Fred!!

I am interested in the connector split off the door reflector with butt connectors. Color? I was thinking white. Does that work?

Default courtesy lights

This is a simple and quick way to add courtesy light strips to the underside of the doors.I wired mine into the led door reflectors so they come on with the footwell lights.Pass the wires through the rubber plug and wire em up!

Hey Fred;Once you get the white courtesy strips installed I'de like to see the pictures!! I havent seen the whites in action Yet.
