I'm worried about the arrival of this product now, because I called Speed Inc. & told them I heard that the manifold would be in sooner than expected & some vendors allready had them. They just replied gruffly ,"late August or sometime in September!" That was all she wrote!

Here are some independent engine dyno results...interesting that they were actually able to test the L92/LS3 (aka: rectangle port head) version at the same time as the LS1/LS2/LS6 (aka: cathedral port) version, didn't think that one was being released as soon:

"Fellow LS enthusiasts:
Here is the latest:
First of all, on behalf of Holley / Weiand, I would like to apologize to the members of this forum and the LS community for the continued delays on the Weiand Street Warrior LS intake. When we showed the LS prototypes at SEMA in 2007, we were assured that we would be shipping product in the springtime. Unfortunately, due to significantly longer tooling and development time than ever expected, here we are in October without intakes. The program continues to move forward and we are getting closer every day to releasing production. The latest according to our partner, Starr
Products:
The tool is complete and initial test shots are being made in it daily.
Starr is still working out some issues with the injection molding equipment that has been out of their hands but feel the problem has been identified now and they are in the process of fixing it.
Early samples are looking good but still have some minor issues in visible areas that must be corrected prior to releasing the intakes for production.
Once production representative pieces are run, Weiand will validate the performance, fit and function of the producion parts to ensure your satisfaction and ensure quality.
At that time, we will commence production and begin shipping.
So when will they be available? Soon. I expect to be shipping prior to year end, but cannot guarantee that at this point. I would like to give you a more definitive answer, but at this point, we still have to work through these details. Rest assured that Starr and Holley are doing everything possible to get these intakes to market. I am sure you can appreciate how difficult it is to make a 1 peice intake manifold with this level of technology.
In closing, I would just like to thank you for your support. The interest in these manifolds has been staggering and your excitement makes the investment in time and money worthwhile.
