Here, this article is not on a C5, but a GM is a GM (almost). It will basically be the same for an O2 sensor.
There will be four of these (1 on each pipe before and after your catalitic convertors).

Here is a close up pic of what you have to do. There is a connection plug that you can disconnect and replace the sensor.
