Default Need New Plug Leads

I'm going to change the plug leads and I was going to go for the GM Red. I'm in CA at present so I could pick them up while I'm here.

My 02 Vert is stock

Any other leads that you've used that may be a better option?

I run the GM red, like 'em. There are quite a few long wire debate threads, MSD, Nology, GM red, etc. Having read them before putting mine on it seemed the majority supported the GM product.

I'm sure there will be many others chiming in on this one.

Thanks Bill

I know it gets debated a lot but recent experience is always good

I recently changed my plugs/wires, and used the GM Performance red 8mm wires, they seemed to be a bit less expensive than other aftermarket high performance wired....
My old plugs/wires were origional '02, and the car runs a lot better now, actually, runs like new again

No just a conference in Monterey. Beats the norm for me

Picked up those leads today so I should be looking sharp under the hood in a few weeks

Make sure that you post after the install...I'm thinking about doing the same thing.

Last summer I ordered a set of the GMPP red wires from GMPartsHouse. Put them on and they work very well.

Good choice DeeGee. I am running the GM Red wires and the AC Delco Iridium plugs and really like this combo.

I paid full dealer price because I had to pick them up while I was here. I'm sure you'd get a better price from Bob at Fichtner Chevrolet.

Very true . It was great to be able to go to dealers and Autozone and just pay the straight cost without shipping tax and handling charges. I picked up a spring and a rubber stopper and I got a great steer from a Forum expert so we'll see how the DeeGee version looks

But you're absolutely correct. I love my car
