Oh, and my wife's Black '98 convertible looks nothing like the Red '04 Z06 down the street.

I Love it...
I thought about doing that paint job on a coupe or Z06, when I looked for a C5 and couldn´t find a black MN6 Z51 Vert. Got one in the end, but the flat black might be my next paint job (even though it does not really fit on the Vert). We have a few Porsches around here in that color. When it´s done right it looks like the car sucks in the very light of day. Not a color choice you see around every corner!
Besides that paint job makes me feel young again ... I can almost hear the whine of the open Weiand blower in the Austalian Badlands

I like the paint job. Don't care much for the black wheels that are on there, though. I like the wheels.. just not on that car with that paint job. With that paint job, if the wheels are going to be chrome, they probably need a black center with a chrome (not black chrome) lip.. probably.. maybe...

Sorry, But I couldn't even think of doing that to a Vette, All I see is a car lookiong for trouble. Corvettes were ment to have a nice finish on them, Not the gangster look.
