Flat Black C5

A friend of mine had his C5 murdered the F*** out. He came over and we put my black wheels on. I love this car.

I like it. He could go more. Black out the back-up lights. Black chrome with monochrome emblem on the back, monochrome emblem on the front, black chrome lugnuts, and darker tint on the windows, that would be first degree murder.

The car was white. It's an acutal paint job. He does need to retint the widows and do a few other things.

saves a lot of money in waxes and glaze. I think it's a pretty cool and unique look, not for everyone but for me...that's what makes it cool.

Very Nice.

There have been several other posts about this topic.

I would consider doing this to my when it needed a paint job were it not for the fact that I have a Nassau Blue FRC, which are rare.

I do have one question though. I have heard that black is hard to maintain and that scratches and swirls are easy to see. Does going to flat or matte black lessen these issues?
