I would only do that if my paint was bad and I couldnt afford a paint job. IMO it is just OK.

I like it a lot when I see it in pictures. In person, I am not sure if cars that are painted flat black look that great.

Would have made a better "Kit" for the Knight Rider series than a Mustang

That being said, I wonder what a "Hyperblack" (like the Z07 wheels) paint job would look like, along with some black-chrome wheels and emblems....hrmmm

OK for '32 Deuces with flame jobs but a Corvette? Nah, sorry.
Proof I guess that the C5 is the new Camaro.

Murdered? Whatever dood.
I respect that it's different, and that he has the (check the spelling) huevos to do that, and I dig the GTR rear facia.
Not lovin it though. If he's happy though, high five.

Oh my! That's what I want mine to look like when I repaint it. I am interested in the "care" of that kind of paint job. Washing waxing and ect...or the lack there of. Could you ask him how the painter said to care for it?

All you have to do is wash it and dry it. No wax needed. A paint shop here in Houston called Richey Collision did the work.

The problem with most C5's is they all look the same. Hell it's a 11 year old Vette, it's almost ready for the junk yard.
