Mods are backing up....

I've had a hard time getting around the last 4 months due to a knee replacement with some serious complications but it hasn't kept me from "planning" mods. I did get the TS nose, side skirts and the Stu spoiler on this winter but it's been tough getting some others done.

This is what I have to do and I've got all the pieces. Just need the time and energy to get them done...

1. R&R bowtie valve covers and drill and tap for AN fittings and vent lines.

2. Replace the right side fuel tank cover damaged by large rock in road.

3. Replace the sub amp and clean up the system wiring. - DONE!

4. Install the Crazy Cowboy cockpit insulation kit. DONE!

5. Remove BP Vortex and install Halltech Venom AAIS and shorten/cleanup MAF wiring

6. Change out the stands in the RAM Dual Disk Clutch through inspection plate. May have Ed Hutchings do this.

7. Install cutouts. I've got a local shop to do this but I will need to wire them.

8. Install new style shaft in the MGW shifter - DONE!

DAMN!!! The list is longer than I thought.

I really need to have a mod party.

These are simply upgrading factory parts. Techinically - still stock.

Also an upgrade. I'm just trying to make the Ti's last longer by occassionally diverting the hot exhaust gas from the mufflers. - Still stock..

Oh yeah. I was just running down the list in my head and got depressed. This knee thing has really slowed me up in everything. I'm driving the car now and everything to do is just improvements.

OK - time to get off the computer and start the mods. I'm going to do the interior stuff today. Insulation, stereo wiring, new MGW shaft. Wife is off for the day. We'll see how long I hold up.

OK so, started early today. So far I've got the Crazy Cowboy cockpit insulation kit done and the car is back together. Also swapped out the sub amp and cleaned up the wiring. Installed the new shaft for the MGW shifter.

AND.....The DMH low profile cutouts were delivered!

I need a nap..

UPDATE: Just took the car for a short drive. The insulation kit definitely quieted things up...Worth while mod!
