after i did exhaust mods..traded the b & b's ,went back to Ti's, just too too loud for me...to each his own.
when i could'nt hear the "harley" i was running against ...that was enough for me........
Just as a followup comment for day 2 (since I couldn't find a lot of information on this setup when I had initially searched)
- Drone definately moves to a lower RPM range. Used to drive you mad around 2.4-2.7k, but now it sounds a lot cleaner and no drone
- The best way I can describe the overall sound is that it's crisper - bullets and stock manifolds sounded rather muddy (good, but muddy). Now it sounds clear and strong
- Volume is definitely louder - much louder - as others have said, more than controllable by being aware of your surroundings and knowing where to shift if you arn't in the mood to wake the dead.
- Idle still has a little bit of that motorboatish sound (which I loved), but for the most part it's smoothed over.
- Popping/gurggling still present, although it doesn't seem as loud to me. This could just be because now that the exhaust is louder I'm not as focused on the pop/gurggle, but it's definately still there.
