I guess I'm not understanding the point of this post - did you come over here from C3 Gen to accuse all C5 owners of being dickwads or did you come over here looking for sympathy?
So someone threw a rev at you - is this the first time it has ever happened? In my mind it's kind of an unspoken rule that you respect all generations of Corvettes - and it looks like you encountered someone who doesn't share that philosophy. Sorry it ruined your day.
I guess the next time some ricer or Mustang or Chrysler Hemi, or some soccer mom in a minivan, or whomever driving whatever throws a rev - you should jump on that corresponding forum and make a similar post. I generally ignore stuff like this and move on, you should do the same.

OP, You need a chill pill, Do you go to every forum when someone revs up there car by you?. Sounds to me that you are just looking to cause trouble. Every week some honda or Ford or what ever revs up thair car by me, Do I care? Heck no, I think it is funny.

Not a big deal IMO. If having a rev thrown at you is the worst thing you encounter out on the road, you're pretty lucky.

Had this same thing happen a few times when I had my C4. I always took it as a compliment; a sort of "seal of approval". 
It put the corvette grin all over my face.
