So I stopped by the Chevy dealer on the way home to pick up an oil filter for the '03 Z.
I think she gave me the wrong one... this thing is smaller than the filter on my 3.0 V6 Ranger and only cost $4.88. Surely the oil filter on a vette is a bigger than a tennis ball???
My invoice says part no. 89036836. But the filter has "PF46" and "88984215" on it. Can anyone help me out here?

Right Filter and yes they are smaller then you would expect.
it snowed 10 inches Saturday;

it is supposed to snow 6 more inches tonight.

I'll have to have it flat-bedded to my house I think.
So I've got this CORRECT oil filter, 12q. of Costco-supplied Mobil 1 (with coupon of course!) air filter, an oil pressure sensor, CAGS solenoid, Antivenom mod washers, lowering instructions, new center console, and a full stock of detailing supplies to keep me busy until the snow melts. Again.
