I'm very fortunate to have one of each and enjoy both tremendously.

Each offers a unique driving expierence with the coupe offering a sporty/classy feel and the vert a sporty/sexy feel.

If I had to choose which one to keep I would keep the vert, only because here in San Diego it can be driven year round and there is nothing like the feeling you get when your top is down.

Are you sure that the Vert is lighter? Usually the other way around.

Thanks for all of the input and the provided pictures. It is definitely appreciated. I think the convertible is the one for me, but again, I plan on driving both to get a first hand idea.

As for space, I am a minimalist packer and use duffle bags anyway, so that should not be much of an issue.

I have driven a friend's H/C '99 6-speed coupe and it is definitely a very nice car that rides and handles quite nicely. Now to try and drive both back to back...

I'm amazed at the cargo capacity of the vert.

Without taking the time to look it up again, I'm pretty sure the vert is 2 Lbs heavier. It's pretty insignificant.
