I used the new NXT yesterday. Easy on/off and a great shine. It is supposed to last longer than the original NXT.
You'll be happy to know that NXT 2.0 definitely lasts a very long time! I started using it in January, and the coat that I put on back then was still protecting perfectly even after two harsh winter months here, with tons of road salt coating my paint constantly. In fact, the detail shop that washes my car every week in the winter (since it's too cold to do it myself) commented in March that my paint felt as slippery as if a fresh coat of wax had just been applied.
One thing I really love about this new version is how the water just flies off the paint when you're driving in the rain. That means when it dries, there are nowhere near as many water spots, and as a black car owner I really appreciate that! Also, as a black car owner I appreciate the fact that dust does not stick to the finish as much with this new NXT as well.
I do have one suggestion for those of you who use this new NXT, and that's to try out Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer as well. If you think it shines really well after using NXT 2.0, just wait until you see the finish after using the UQD on top of it! WOW! My black paint has never looked this amazing! The NXT 2.0/UQD combo is the best! And I think it would look awesome on one of the metallic colors like Lemans blue or Magnetic Red!
I use Zaino exclusively on the vette but on my SUV I use NXT2. It's a lot easier to use that Zaino, but for some reason I still stick with it on the vette. Great shine btw
