Oil Catch can question...
Is the PCV valve still needed if you have the catch installed?
If so, why?
Also, on the LS1, is the thick cable thats attached from the PCV valve to the block needed?
Thanks,
al

^ thats an intersting article BUT I still think that not putting the pcv valve on after installing a catch can is not going to make a significant change.

Correct me if I'm wrong everyone, but it is just there to hold the unit in place... so it can come out if you don't like it...
Peace

As for the cable, I thought it was a ground of some sort.
Seems odd to me that GM would use such heavy gauge cable to secure a PCV valve!
