Default Daddys Car!!!

So my girl and I headed to the c5/c6 bash this weekend in Bowling Green this past weekend, we dropped off our stuff at the hotel and drove down to smoky bones to eat. Car was clean, top was down, and a pretty little blonde was with me (MY GIRLFRIEND), just enjoying the beautiful night and excited about the events on Saturday. As we pulled in the parking lot I heard one of the two guys while standing with two girls say DADDYs CAR, I asked Jessica if she heard them as I feel my head starting to heat up knowing that I am 30 years old and need to control my temper. She tried to play it off and say no lets just have fun and eat. I could'nt get my top latched fast enough while once again trying to calm down!! As we walked to the door I had enough and started walking towards them asking them about DADDYS CAR, the girls jaw dropped as she said, he heard you to one of the guys. I nicely said that I was 30 and well a few other things while walking towards the two guys; as the two guys just looked at each other in their own pity the girl stepped up and said we are sorry and her guy was just jealous. WOW the guys didnt even have the $alls to stand up for each other as the girl had to. Sorry guys, normally I can control myself but being a little under stress i was ready to go untill I got my senses back due to the girl having to stand up for them out of shame.

Just a little Rant story, that is the first that I have had that said to me at least that I heard

Sounds like the girl that spoke up and stated "JEALOUSY" was the only one in that group with half a brain.

You're lucky it turned out the way it did, and that the two guys (wouldn't call them MEN) had no huevos - if they did and had a couple of adult beverages (liquid courage) in them, it would have been two against one. Bottom line - it wasn't worth it.

I'm a hot head too - and up to this point, I've been lucky and not gotten my *** kicked confronting a couple of jerks. But one of these days.........

Best bet is ignore 'em. That hurts their feelings more if you don't play into their game.

You're pretty lucky they didn't decide to take out some revenge against your nice car while you were inside eating. Best to let things like that go by the wayside. Who cares what they think? You're the one driving the Corvette. Glad all worked out for you.

I just tell people like that this simple phrase:

"If believing that makes you feel better about yourself, so be it."

Do not let it get to you, it is not worth the stress and frustration!

Next time that happens just stop for a second, take a deep breath, step up in a confident manner and..........kick the first one in the side of the knee, and hit the second one across the bridge of the nose with a nice hook. Makes two on one a lot easier when one can't walk and the other can't see. J/K
You shouldn't let stuff like that bother you. Just smile and say, "That ones mine. My dad drives a red one. But thanks for noticing, and I'll tell him you like silver better. He'll appreciate that."

You should have walked up to them and said "Daddy's car... no this is actually your mom's car she just gave it to me as payment for last night....."

Or you could have muttered something about trailer trash as you were walking in. But then you would have had to watch your car all night.

Why should you care, as long as you're not living with Daddy and Mommy.

I think you did the right thing. Made them look as immature as they were acting.....

Regarding the 18 year old in the C6 section.. maybe he's a good kid, goes to school gets straight A's, going to college etc... it's not his fault his parents have cash.
