Daddys Car!!!

his wallet under his own free will. There's always gonna be someone
that's more financially endowed.
I do not think the 18-year old is benefitting one bit from acquiring such a car and I blame the father for not teaching him a set of values.None of us would turn down a free Z06,bar-none.
I'm not suprised that he's unemployed,if you're father had the means to purchase Z06's and gave you one at 18 obviously he's not gonna be
banging on you're room door to get a job at a movie theater so he can make ends meet.
I've worked hard all my life as well, and I feel the same when it comes to seeing something I've had to work day in,day out to get over years
then watch somebody sign the bottom-line in about 2.5 seconds and it
just burns my azz.
I can't compete,and I won't compete because it's a losing battle,because my body can't cash ego checks.Tony&Gino will
make sure of that, and I'm not talking about my fiancee's brothers.
Look at the bright side though, friend. No one will mistake you for
driving Daddy's car
with that for life like the Scarlet Letter.
Hold your head up high, you earned yours the old-fashioned way

They don't need to know my name is on the title or the insurance policy!!! I earned my car!!!
They had nothing to say because they drive mommy's rusted out honda CRX...

Count your blessings young bucks and let that crap fly in one ear and out the other. One day you'll realize the advantage of just letting most crap go. If you feel that you must flex you testosterone muscles, there's a war going on in which you can become a participant that I''m sure will get all the fight out your bones in quick order.
Confrontation is not worth it when walking away reveals the bigger man. That's coming from someone who use to go out of his way to plant his boot in some azz daily. I now follow my own advice.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Lemme tell you something...you command a HELLUVA lot more respect (from me anyway) for being a C5 owner (that earned it himself) than being a C6 Z-06 owner whose daddy bought it for him!!
I think is kind of funny how people view Corvette's as "really expensive" cars. I like to look at my 2003 Z06 as the best damn performance bang-for-your-buck. I'm driving a bargain!

You're lucky it turned out the way it did, and that the two guys (wouldn't call them MEN) had no huevos - if they did and had a couple of adult beverages (liquid courage) in them, it would have been two against one. Bottom line - it wasn't worth it.
I'm a hot head too - and up to this point, I've been lucky and not gotten my *** kicked confronting a couple of jerks. But one of these days.........
Best bet is ignore 'em. That hurts their feelings more if you don't play into their game.
I say just relax and enjoy your vet.. There will always be an opening for some kind of comment. A few years they can say "oh mid life crisis" a little more,,trying to be younger a little older still-- second child hood. Hell I'm 61 and the kids first said Mid life crisis,, I hope so,,122 years old and I'll still trying to drive my vet!!
