Ahem...FOB issues
Ive read some, and am reading some as I speak(write) so Ill do the honours
I just got my car back from storage, so I did the usual hold luck and unlock buttons, it beeped, didnt work after a few seconds.
Tried a few more times, got new battery...same deal.
I tried doing the programming on the dic, worked for a minute, then nothing. It locked and unlocked and honked a few times by itself right after as well, then quit.
From what Ive read so far, Looks like i need a new FOB? bahh
(yeah it has the passive switch.....which is off btw, and I did clean it up.)

Very well could be the fob needs replacement. I had to replace mine because it wouldn't retain its synch with the car.

I never had to sync with the dic before, even after months of storage, just did the two buttons on fob deal.
I tried again tonight, it honked, then nothing.
Sounds like a new fob is in my future.

Are your TPS sensors reading on the DIC? They share a receiver with the Fob. If they work you can discount a receiver problem.
The battery on the car is worth a check. It has been known to affect the locking
the most likely is the fob. You already replaced the battery. Is it the same with both fobs? If its only one that will tie the problem down further. If its both I'd be thinking new fobs. Look around on E Bay and you'll probably pick up a new set cheaply.
