gps mounted above, in between visors?
Curious if anyone has ever mounted a gps in this area. I know where I want it, but fabbing a mount is another story. I just wanted to get it up and out of the way so I could leave it mounted without it being very obvious to theives. I never take the top off, so no probs there. Just thought I would ask.

I have my GPS antenna for my Pioneer AVIC mounted on the rear view mirror. This is viewed from below so you can see it. from seat height its invisible.

Someone on here remarked about suctioning it to the roof. I have tried that on my car a few times and actually like it. might be worth a shot.

Mine is mounted at dash level using the old suction cup mount.
I've driven a car where it was mounted in the dash, I found that when I looked at it I lost sight of the road for too long.
I'm guessing that mounting it way up high, while not as bad as down low, your eyes would off the road too much.
