You can change it in your settings to which Vette you want it to show all the time.

Yellow is a C6 Red is a C5
You can select your "home" setting and the top changes!!!!
Under options - way at the bottom is "forum skin" - if you pick C5 you see the red C5 - if you have fourn default - you see a yellow C6

It is RED on mine, which is the correct color. Remember "All Corvettes are RED, the rest are mistakes".

Red here as well. I think you can change the color somewhere in your "user CP".
Personally, I'd like to see a LeMans Blue with stripes up there...that always brings out the negative comments from a select few though...

I realize that the original Corvettes came only in white with red interiors, but that was the last year of one color only.
The saying came from John Heindicy at meeting when they were discussing the color for the 1,000,000th Corvette that was soon to be built.
