Default Another Z06 logo rendition..................

Ok, another Z06 rendition to think about. [IMG][/IMG] This would be more generic to the '01-04 Z06. Also this won't be as flat looking as on this draft. The finished product will have silver boarders and a bonded urethane finish( hard to scratch). The silver will also show up thru the characters. Like this one: Shelby GT Mustang[IMG][/IMG] Sorry it's a Ford example[IMG][/IMG] 2"X5 1/4" Opinions: what should the maximum dimensions be? Here is a C3 dash plaque[IMG][/IMG] Here is another fine example for consideration:[IMG][/IMG] Oh the thickness of the aluminum is 25 gauge (.179).********* Looking for opinions!!! I know for a fact that everyone on this forum has an opinion. "Input, must have input". LOL

Looks pretty nice. Not a bad price either.

Ideally this would be the image to use less the 405 HP so the plate could be made to show the actual horse power if the car had been modified or for the 2001's. I think it is important that the "Z" be red and inside an oval. The "06" could be black.

Default 2 dimensional .............

Three dimensional images look a whole lot different when placed in two dimensional plate. I even tried to get a one piece laser cut designed plate . Cost prohibitive plus other problems. I tried to get the same thing in laser cut acrylic plastic , just didn't look authentic. I want this to look like Zora placed it on the console or dash , whatever.

Default Looking good................

Ok now this is looking better; wayneinvirginia and I were on the same page with this idea and RonVette2 did the what layout. Consider that the white backround and the black backround will be the brushed aluminum plate. The red stripe outlining the Z06. What you have then is a simple , clean Z06 logo.[IMG][/IMG] Yes, I like that. I'll send this over to them to moch up with the rest of the plate's design.
Oh since I brought up the idea of a Z06 version of a dash plaque, this vendor has added his version of a Z06 dash plate. Price is good , for sure and it's personalized with your name and the car's VIN number ( which I consider cool and offical looking). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Corve...spagenameZWDVW

That is what I had in mind. The only change that I would make would be to stretch the "Z" and make the oval more eliptical so that the edge is closer to the "0" so it looks more like the fender emblem.

Default I agree........

Yes Wayne I agree. I like the lean, sleek look of the '01-'02 OEM fender badges. As Z06 RL stated in the thread I have going in the Z06 topic area, it's a good start.

I had some 1/4 thick OEM style acrylic plastic Z06 characters designed and laser cut and to get the correct look I was after took two weeks to communication and drafts to get them right The oval with the Z was the most difficult. I expect this project will be just as time consuming.
