No but really normal day to day its right around 2500-3000... Alot of the time I get away with cruising down longer than 2000 rpm!! The car has plenty of power to do so, even in the Colorado altitude!!
Of course when I want to use my engine for foolish activities all I need to do is downshift!!
Ah, you're testing your own products! I do the same, occasionally, but normally, I shift after the shift message light goes out (about 2200 rpm).
Just this morning, I approached a guy who was about a quarter mile behind the car in front of him, IN THE FAST LANE! ........6th to 4th downshift, pass on the right (hey, the guy was hogging the left lane, illegally) and then upshift at 5000 rpm.
Note that is is NOT normal, everyday, going to work driving......
My driving covers a wide range,,putting around ai will shift early and skip gears.but I can't resist a little run through the lower gears on a frequent basis. The flip side, I'll go to the strip and be banging 6000/6100 shifts( the very first pass I made I got a little over eager and hit the rev limiter in the first 3 gears )
Unbelievable - 4 people shift at over 4000 rpm ALL THE TIME! If I did that, I've have to allocate $50 a week for fuel expenditures vs the $25 I spend currently. But hey, if you have the bucks.......

Normally between 1500-2000,occasionally a romp past that
Its amazing they dont seem to bog down at all until you hit 1100RPMs I prefer to drive at or under 1500 and I still have plenty of giddy up if need be.

Really? I don't ever let mine get below about 1600-1700 before dropping a gear, unless coming to a complete stop.
Normally a little above 2000 rpms and 2500 rpms. But i do tend to get carried away quite often and go above that. Yesterday for the heck of it i looked to see what i was averaging in the city and it said 11 mpg. I was shocked. So today i really stayed out of it. Even went into fifth gear coming home in the foothills. And i would never never do that. Averaged 18 mpg. I could have done better. But hey it's a Vette.
Perhaps I'm showing my noobie status here, but I candidly don't even look at my RPMs, at least not with respect to when I shift. It's more about what I'm thinking as I work the gearbox at the time... am I moving more quickly than fast, am I winding it up on an on-ramp on I-93, or am I stuck between lights on a 2-lane stretch of road in town? Those are my tell-tale signs as to when I shift - smoothly or more aggressively, harder rather than soft, or more inclined to get the bride's attention if she's in the passenger seat than less. I completely dig the 6-speed and love figuring out the patterns that'll most benefit me in trotting the motor on a beautiful day - hell, it's why I BOUGHT a vette!!!!
