Default Race Ramps Question

I am sure alot of you guys have these to lift up your Vettes. I was wondering if I should get the 56" or the 67"? I have a 03 Spiral Gray coupe that isn't lowered. Just going to use them for light maintenance such as oil changes, ect. Maybe a Vara Ram install?? Thanks in Advance.

For Spiral gray, use 56", for Speedway white, use 68."

Default 56" ramps work great.

i like the 56" ramps for my 02 lowered Z. it just rubs the lower black air damn but not the bumper. I really like that i could fit them in the car and take them with me. I own a shop and use them daily, the only cars I have not been able to get on the 56" ramps are a 2007+ Porsche 997 Turbo and a 2007 Subura STI lowered with a aftermarket front lip.

The Race Ramps are a great product

I was cheap and went for Rhino Ramps from Walmart. The wider gray ones were only $35 and do just fine.

The 67's will give you 2 more in. in height. They also have back ramps as well as 10 in. high blocks to use if you jack the car up. Have them all and use them all!!

The approach angle is the same, the difference is the longer ramps give you 2 extra inches of lift (10"). Well made product.

I returned mine because the airdam was dragging up the ramps and I hadn't even lowered it yet. I went with a Kwiklift for 20" of lift.

Default Race ramps 56"

Hi There Schenckbrian,
I have the race ramps 56" from brute industries.I bought these in Jan. of 07. I was going to send them back as the side air damn rubbed going up the ramp on my stock 01 vette.I called the company & talked to the design engineer & he thought the problem was my vette was lowered.I said its stock from the factory no mods.He said that I could return them for a refund but, they were in the process of developing a xtender ramp which attaches to the 56" ramp & would eliminate the rubbing & were designed for vettes that were lowered.I waited for the xtender ramps & ordered them. I was very pleased with them & their customer service & attitude. Anyway no rubbing at all.Tip: You can't have any gap between the ramp & the ztender piece they just butt together. Their number is 866-464-2788 price at the time was $119 a pair. Works good for me as I repair other vettes at my home which some are lowered.Keeps me out of trouble & from getting the retirement blues.lol
I hope this may help you

I have the 67" XT's in the 2 piece design. I really like getting her up and then being able to remove the back half of the ramp and get under from the side. There's only a slight difference in incline angle, 10.78 for the 56" and 10.69 for the 67". Eihter way a great product!

Yes, it will rub unless you buy the "xtenders." There's no way around it.

I bought them because they had a picture of a C5 Z06 on their website with no extenders, only to find you need them. Too much money for my taste.

I also bought the extenders but have never tried mine without them. They further decrease the incline to a mere 6.88 degrees. I plan on lowering mine further than on stock bolts and figured I'd need them sooner or later.
