yea... I hope so! I was told the the reverse lock out solenoid is located on the top drivers side of the transmission, probably cannot get to it by removing the shifter? Honestly, I dont care what it takes! I just want my baby back to normal

My first Z06 had problems with the reverse lockout solenoid. When it wasn't working I wouldn't describe it as "hard to get into reverse" it was more like practically impossible!

Thanks bro! it's hard to break 10's on a radial or at least it is for me.

well guys..... solenoid was fine I was so hoping that was it! Im thinking maybe the reverse syncro is broke. Oh well! told them not to worry about it, got on the phone with RPM and I should have a level 5 tranny in about 3 weeks so... I guess some good came of this mess, wasnt planning on upgrading so soon but O'well.

Now... back to the track to test this beefed up tranny!

lol... trust me I didnt wanna spend it! but.. gotta have her running right,right

Dude, I was so upset that I told them to keep the car and call me when its done. To top it off my racing seats will be here tomorrow! and I dont have a "properly" working car to put them in! I guess they will make good Xbox live seats for now

Was it ever established that the solenoid was getting power when it ain't supposed to?

I suppose the quick troubleshoot was to disconnect it and see if you could get into reverse with the car running.

checked it, solenoid is working correctley
