yea... I hope so! I was told the the reverse lock out solenoid is located on the top drivers side of the transmission, probably cannot get to it by removing the shifter? Honestly, I dont care what it takes! I just want my baby back to normal

My first Z06 had problems with the reverse lockout solenoid. When it wasn't working I wouldn't describe it as "hard to get into reverse" it was more like practically impossible!

At first it was hard to get into reverse, now Im at impossible!

well guys..... solenoid was fine

I was so hoping that was it! Im thinking maybe the reverse syncro is broke. Oh well! told them not to worry about it, got on the phone with RPM and I should have a level 5 tranny in about 3 weeks

so... I guess some good came of this mess, wasnt planning on upgrading so soon but O'well.

Now... back to the track to test this beefed up tranny!

Dude, I was so upset that I told them to keep the car and call me when its done. To top it off my racing seats will be here tomorrow! and I dont have a "properly" working car to put them in! I guess they will make good Xbox live seats for now

Was it ever established that the solenoid was getting power when it ain't supposed to?

I suppose the quick troubleshoot was to disconnect it and see if you could get into reverse with the car running.
