Actually I tried to EDIT this post as I have in the past, but there is no option for that this time?? I wanted to add another picture, I first jacked the front, again using cross beam adapter, at the "preferred" GM jacking position, then put jacking pucks in the front rail positions and lowered the car back down on to sturdy ramps with a piece of 6 by 6 on top. Then jacked up the rear. Man there is still not a lot of room under there!!

Looks like a good setup for jacking up the car. And the CAGS bypass is a very good change to make.

I guess I kinda rushed my typing, didn't clarify,,I did my eliminator a while back and love it,was just wondering how you liked yours!! I like shifting to what gear I want and when I want it!! I know EXACTLY what you mean about the lack of room even after jacking it up. I'm very thankful for the day when my lovely wife said yes,,,, to getting a Backyard Buddy drive on 4 poster! I've had the motor in and out twice + an extra rebuild on my shark countless oil changes a rear suspension redo many exhaust jbs and just finished full headers/exhaust on a club members C4. More starters and other projects than I can remember. You suddenly become popular, but I love mot crawling in an out from under the car ALL THE TIME!! Start bugging your wife it's great!!

I really like the spreader bar portion of your floor jack. Very cool. I've never seen anything like that. Can you provide us with any info (Manufacturer, Retailer? model#, adapter or whole jack?) Thanks.

Plenty of room, only caveat would be lifting with the hood open! I got the optional 7ft lift and have a 12 ft ceiling. Hood down I have lots of room all the way up (all my cars have about 2 ft of clearance)Don't remember about the truck, but it still gets up there!Even with the vets hood up there is quite a bit if working room under there!I'm happy and my back is happy.Only problem is when I work with some of my short buddy's one is 5'6" and I'm 6'2" Let me know how it goes!!
