i have done three launches on my MT ET Streets at 18 psi. I slipped the clutch the first time at 4000 rpm and bogged. Second i dumped the clutch at 4500 rpm light bog and got a 1.7 60ft! Third slipped at 5000 rpm and big bog!
What are you guys finding that works?
i have rpm level5 tranny harden shafts and dte brace so it can handle a launch along with a textrilia oz700 clutch!
Mike i posted the same questions with no answers. Good luck, I'm having a terrible time trying to get the car to launch.I love my level 5 tranny and Hurst shifter with soft springs
Even with drag radials 4000 seems like it should be enough to get you off the line hard! I'd try maybe 20 lbs in the tires as well as putting in in competitive driving mode.(Just in case you don't know ,press and hold your TC button and hold it for 5 seconds after you see traction control off,and it will display Competitive driving mode) Then you should get some spin!
c5's you need to rev it almost to redline and slip the hell out of the clutch. look up videos and watch them. non of them look like the explode out of the hole just sorta slip out.
