i already had the LEDs in the mirrors so all i did was tap into those wires for the blink signal.
they don't do a spiderman because i cut out a portion of the vent screen (1 segment) so they shine thru without being blocked.
the red is a different color than the red in the blinker mirror and the tail lights. i think it's an OK mod for now.

they better not miss my signals! they'd have to be like ray charles! 
you know, i haven't really checked if they show up against the paint. probably not as much as they would on a different color of car.
i really only got them to serve as a blinker, not an accent light which is why i wired them just to turn on with the blinker.

they look awesome in person as pics don't really do LED mods justice as anyone with the halo tail lights can tell you.

Your ingenuity and creativeness is amazing! It's not for me, but the idea of modding your car is to accent it and make it your own and you've certainly done that! Nice job!

Bumping this thread back to life.
I'm going to be doing this modification with Amber LED strips. I had to wait until Black LED strips with amber LEDs became available to match my blacked out corner lights.
oh...and I'm paying less than $4 each for them....don't hate me too much
