I already did a search and didnt really get any answers.
I just changed rims went to a 18 & 19 set up and running 275x30x18 & 315x25x19.
The minute i got in the highway and tried to accelerate the TC activated. From what i have read the new wheels shouldn't have effected anything? Any ideas what causing this? Or is it possible i brunt out (cough) another TC module?
Did you ever think that with the new tires (probably a bit slipper) you really are spinning the tires. I do it all the time from 60 mph granted I've got a supercharger, but you've got some mods yourself I see.
no i dont think slipping is the issue. I have the Falken 452's they stick great. i spun more with my 295s on the back, with the 315 i have noticeably more traction.
And it is activating under normal driving conditions not just when i beat on it.
Your T/C, ABS & A/H won't function properly with those tire dia. The 315/25/19 tire is only 25.2" tall,
and the 275/35/18 is taller at 25.6".
Install 265/35/18 & 305/30/19 tires.

If you don't want to run with your Traction Control turned off all the time the only solution you have is to buy larger diameter rear tires or smaller diameter front tires.
A number of people are making this mistake lately and there have been plenty of postings about it. This must be the third one I have seen in the last couple of weeks.
As I posted in those threads this is not something a tuner can help you with since tuners can only work with the PCM while the Traction Control function is provided by the EBCM which they can't modify.
Yeah I had this same problem with my 350Z... basically you just need to have your front tires shorter in diameter by at least about an inch. If your rears are the same diameter as the fronts or shorter, then the rears are making more revolutions than the fronts and the computer thinks the rears are spinning and thus the TCS tries to prevent that.
Someone should really write a small article on this and make it a sticky because this becomes ever more important for those who go to aftermarket wheels and a lot of people don't realize the staggered fitment requirements.
I bought my vette like that. When shopping for tires I suggest everyone use a tire size calculator to get proper diamater measurements. Tires are not cheap to buy.

you can run the same size with no problem, I've done it. it's only a problem when the rear tires are smaller than the front tires
