I finished the installation this morning and I am very happy with the system. It went together pretty well total time to install was probably 2-3 hours including jacking the car up and down. Hard to say exactly but I know it would be easier with two people working together. I like the sound, I dont think I would want it any louder or quieter, for me its just right. I have to say I am surprised. I have been thinking of doing some sort of exhast for 2 1/2 years. My wife finally talked me into it, she said "get something this thing is way to quiet!".
I like the aggressive sound on acceleration and at highway speed it is not much louder than stock.

With something like this it is always a matter of owners preference but from my experice now I would recomend this system. The folks at Mid America were very nice and helpful.

Thanks TR6speed for the advise!

You are welcome, and glad you like it. We did mine in less then 2 hours, but I had acces to a lift, air tools and my son and the owner of the shop.

Did you go with the Quadpower and X-Pipe only or did you also change from the stock air box and add a new air intake?

I just did the Quadpower and pipe. I could not make up my mind on the intake so decided to hold off for now.

Guy's,
I discovered a down side to this setup. My gas mileage has really dropped! I do not drive the car "hard" but since I installed this system it is so much fun leaving a stop sign! Or just accelerating out on the highway! We took a ride through some Wisconsin back country roads tonight and it was awsome! I feel like I am truly driving a sports car now. My wife (who talked me into buying it) was grins from one ear to the other!

Thanks for all the input!

Dave

You are right. My milage has suffered also since itinstall my new exhaust. I seem to drive it a little harder, and run the rev a little more.
