Help with dull wiper tray
What is the best way to shine the windshield wiper tray? It has begun to look dull. Thanks.https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...illy_nilly.gif

Chemical Guys FADE2BLACK-Instantly shines and protects vinyl, plastic, rubber, metal, glass, leather and many other materials. Sprayed surfaces are 100% DRY TO TOUCH water, dirt, and stain resistant. Cleans, shines lubricates and protects against moisture. Non staining anti-static.
used it before on lots of black trim and it works the same as another product that you will be told about but this costs less.
you can google is to get the link.

The Back to Black should work also.
Adam's VRT. It doesn't last as long as they claimed, but it looks great for a while. I'm sure there are better ones out there in the sense that they will last longer, but as far as appearance, VRT has the plastic come out looking great.
Actually, you'd be amazed at what black paste shoe polish will do for dull, discolored, or stained, textured black plastic surfaces. Hand buffs out great also.

P.S.
It goes without saying, NEVER do this to any surface that will come in contact with clothing. Guess how I know?

We experienced the dull black plastic trim on our previous SUV (of another manufacturer). It was my wife's daily driver and the AZ sun/climate had really faded the plastic into more white than black.
I used WENOL metal polish figuring it couldn't hurt. With lots of elbow grease, tons of grime came off. It left a nice shiny black clean surface which was much easier to maintain.
