you can drive with it out of the car it while its being sent out. I just got mine back from brandon - no more codes

when i sent mine in he had it out the next day, and if ya wanted i suppose next day air the module to him both ways and still be 800 bucks cheaper then buying a new module

You might also find one for sale over in the C5 parts for sale section. Lots of people parting out cars these days. That's how I got mine.
