Plus they're cheaper than the aluminum ones, $28 as opposed to about $50. Here a link to a thread where you can get all the info, go to the second page, it's got the part number and a link to bavarian auto where you can buy them.

Thats one of the reasons I bought mine. They're convient, just snap them in and forget them, and when I bought mine they were cheap, but now that they cost more than the aluminum ones, I think I'd have to go with hockey pucks and take them out everytime, or go with the rocker savers with the built in jacking pad.

You are correct,They were the metal ones

Hey, you missed out on these. Over engineered jacking pucks.

They are pretty easy to make but they have still have to be made in a way that they will stick in place.

Get 4 of them,, if you ever have to take it to a garage they will be able to put it on a lift with no problem.

I made 5. One for my floor jack and 4 to keep in the car for vendor lifts.
Bought 5 hockey pucks for .99 ea and 5 eye bolts and recessed nuts. Drill holes insert eye bolts into nuts and done. Very easy and cheap.
Save your money for beer..
