Kwiklift rant.

I could write a book on poor vendor communications the past year. Both parts and service are getting scarce - to the point now that I just expect it. Unless you are ordering a part that is in inventory somewhere, it may take some time.
I figured my custom C5 interior parts would take 3-6 weeks to get all the pieces in (from one vendor) - took over one year! (and no vendor updates).
I have been waiting since May on a replacement stock transparent top (that is not DOA) - still nothing (and no vendor updates). Been driving around with a damaged top all summer and was told it would be here in 3 days initially.
Ordered new C5 Splash Guards for $400 last September 4th that were estimated 3-4 weeks delivery - just got them in two weeks ago (and no updates the whole year - except what I happened upon on this Forum).
Took 3 months for the Dealership to get my 3rd C5 Steering Gear in (and no vendor updates).
Took car to Dealership last December to get some warranty work done - they said 1-2 days. Car was there 17 days and now EVERYTHING they repaired/replaced has failed - so here we go again.
Dealership ordered a new alternator - took 4 trips to dealership to get this installed and they had to order 3 do to shipping damages on the first two.
The list goes on and on..
However, I did get my Kwik Lift last December in about 6 weeks. I did have to call them a couple times for updates, but I was not in a rush.
