Not what I expected
Woke up this morning with it still raining so I passed on driving the vette to work. Not that she cant handle the rain, but after detailing it to the Nth degree, it doesnt make sense to me.
Arrived at work to find out I left my wallet at home with my id badge inside it. Err.
Headed to a meeting at 11am. By 12:15 I was booked on a flight, bound from Detroit to Germany in less then 24 hrs. I still am trying to fathom how I got to this point in my life... I cant even describe...
For all those guys out here who seem to always question how us 'young' guys were able to get our hands on these vettes... its like anything else, hard work and determination; which I know each and everyone of us on this forum have done!!
I have been making personal sacrifices and doing higher level assignments for a few years now; I am capable of working with all work groups - entry level to VP level. I dont play office politics and I shoot the **** straight -- no sugar coating, facts only. And that is how I got here. This is why I get pulled in 7 different directions at one time... I am only saying this now because Im realizing how big of a deal this is and I havent noticed it until today when I booked my flight.
I am proud of what I have and how I got here. Im proud of the tools in my toolbox (my head), and even more so of the toys that I get to put in the toy box at a young age!
I am glad that I get to share one of the best American Dreams at such a young age --- the CORVETTE!
I shall now go use a nail to deflate my head so I can fit through the plane door tomorrow

Anyway....don't let the non-believers get to you ever....congrats on your accomplishments at such a young age....you whippersnapper!

Remember though, a job and a car, while important, pale in comparison to what really matters in life.
Those two could turn out to be the most insignificant items ever in your life.
Sometimes we get so caught up in this rat race, we forget to stop and check how far we've gotten. Many spend their whole lives running in this race, and fail to enjoy life. I was gently, but thoroughly reminded last week, when I was enjoying myself in the Seattle, WA area, and getting paid all the while.
Life is good!
Having traveled the globe, made seven figures and met continually with world leaders-it came to me one day-all is vanity-unless I love my neighbor, remember the poor and be willing to give it all up for something eternal.
And guess what- joy and fullfillment came and the abundance with it.
Congratulations again- help someone else up as your go skyward!

Congrats, Be sure to enjoy the free things in life as well, great sunsets, natures wonders and most other things people take for granted. Remember, you'll never see a U-Haul following a hearse.
