Bad here in MS too. I've used the wet towel method.. pretty good.. Used the Pam method too, but didn't like trying to wash it off since it's kinda of oily. But yes have lots of missing paint chips just from them smacking the front end.
You know if you see a single love bug, that one must be REAL ugly. Rarely see a single one....
When I lived in Fla. a few years ago a friend of mine there got me a product called (are you ready for this) Mr. Love Bug. Made by a company in Cartersville, Ga. called The Splat Company. Just spray it on, wait a few seconds and wipe them right off. It is also biodegradable. Don't wait a day or two to clean them off. They have an acid in them that will actually eat thru the paint.
When I younger I transfered from a school in Pennsylvania to the University of Florida and made the trip on a chopper. I found out the hard way what "love bugs" are. My first purchase the next day was a face shield.
