I am planning to install a 2-Din NAV with a modified center console in my 04' verte. Since I am going to have the stereo swapped and rewired, does anyone know how I can stop the antenna from going up everytime I turn on the stereo? I would like to keep it down when I'm playing CDs or when I have my IPOD connected. I would like the antenna to go up only when I use the radio.

You could wire in a switch on the lead going to the antenna. Just turn it on when you want the antenna up, and off when you don't. Shouldn't be a hard thing to do, as long as you can find and get to the hot wire for the antenna.

There's a wire from the after market HU that puts a voltage out when the radio turns on to give the antenna extend signal
All you need to do is put an online switch into that line and you can stop it extending.
It should be the blue lead (antenna activation) that sets that voltage
