"ignorant" I sell cars... and I'm selling 2 of mine. You can get a C5 for 12-15k these days. Sure a low mielage '04 is worth more, but the fact remains that whether I have a '04 Z16 or a '97 C5, they're both the same car to the average guy. There's nothing super special about a C5 Corvette (or even a c6) for that matter anymore. And to talk down to someone because they are trying to relate to you is completely out of line.
