I ran mine for about 15K miles. I was amazed at the amount of dirt I washed out of it. I balked at the $$$ I had to spend initially, but seeing what all it trapped, plus knowing I'm flowing a little smoother. I happy as a clam.

how much horsepower can u gain with some of these intakes? are they hard 2 install?

hp gains really depends on what intake you get. anywhere from 0hp, to "40" hp with the vararam.. but most are probably in the 5-15hp range.


still no answer as to a dual cone being better than a k&n drop-in or not.

We do not recommend dual cone style kits because of air turbulence at the MAF, which measures and controls air-fuel mixture. Not a great design and performer in my opinion.
