Ahhhh!
ive been trolling these forums for a while now contemplating a corvette for the future but lately the urge has been VERY strong to sell my z(which is something i dont want to do) and get a vette for christmas. i cant get these thoughts out so i need as many cons as i can get from you guys to fight these urges.

I have owned 3 z cars 2 NA and 1 TT. They are great cars and I love the design but after owning 3 vettes I would not buy another Z unless I had lots of expendible income and had time to work on it. Between the 2 I did like the interior better on the z but that would be about it. The power, reliability, and overall up to date looks of a C-5 vettes won me over. Go test drive a few and you will see, I will still probably own another z but thats after getting a bigger house and prob a C-4 zr1. Just go out and drive a few and if you dont fall in love with it then keep the z. I was actually at 1 of our local nissan dealers to trade in my 91 z for a new 350 when I test drove an 02 Corvette coupe they had. I also drove a few of the 350`s but bought the vette instead. Have not been out of a vette scince. Just my 2 cents.

If it's attention you seek...don't get one. On the driveway I have a 2007 Black Porsche Cayman, a 2007 Black BMW 335i along side my 1998 Corvette Triple Black vert. Guess which car gets more stares and compliments? I'll give you a hint...it rhymes with Corvette! Do it!

A decent 300ZX is going to become much more difficult to find later and later on. There are plenty of C5s. I sold my Turbo Supra for my current C5 and LOVE it. I miss the ****-my-pants exhiliration of boost, but raw unadulterated V8 power is unmatched. Plus the Corvette is MUCH MUCH more reliable, the technology is also FAR more advanced. The Corvette is much easier to drive and is overall a much better car to drive in daily situations. If you can't keep your Z and get the Corvette, don't even bother driving a Corvette cause it will make you want to sell the Z IMMEDIEATELY and go get a loan to purchase the Corvette the same day!
