Not sure about lube near a brake assembly, sure that isn't a reference to anti-rattle adhesive?

I am taking these instructions from the Hawk HPS installation instructions. And yes, putting the high temperature silicone grease (provided with the pads) on the BACK of the pads WILL stop squealing. You should also clean and lube the "slides" and bolts.

Ah silicone is different. Generic use of the term grease is what I was referring to.

I'm just referencing the procedures described in the Factory Service Manual for this vehicle. As you stated and it seems Hawk has a slightly different approach. Perhaps their method will work just as well.

I was lucky to get a great price on two piece Baer Eradispeed's from a buddy of mine. That out of the way, I would get the sportrotors, I have heard nothing but good things about them.
