Code help

My car just threw a code that the skip shift is not working correctly. I have had a skip shift eliminator on the car for 2 + years now, and it just threw this code.... has my eliminator gone bad? Any help is appreciated.

I would clean up the connectors and wait to see if it happens again. It is a simple resistor and it could go bad, but it is not common to hear about them crapping out.
