So I've seen a couple of threads where the rear windows have come loose in the verts. My '04 is new to me and seems fine, but I imagine some day I will have to deal with this too. Mine is machine silver with black top and interior. If I were to go with an aftermarket replacement I would consider going with oak vs. black. Any thoughts? Was Oak an option with silver? If so, I'm sure the interior would've been oak too. Anybody got a picture of one? Thanks. David

According to the Corvette Black Book, oak was not a recommended color with the machine silver exterior color (black, light gray or red was). Have never seen a machine silver car with an oak top/interior - not sure it would really look the best though.
Matt3310, the oak interior looked nice.
I assume the top was still black?
I saw a picture of a millenium yellow with an oak top at Corvette Palace. It looked nice too.
I'm thinking oak top on silver, with oak inserts in the black seats might look real nice.
