It's also a joke on the forum. Don't waste your money.

You won't get any more HP, But it does help with the dust in the engine compartment.

Come on guys, be honest. I got 8 miles per gallon better mileage and my 0 to 60 times dropped by 2 seconds. My engine compartment appears to stay a bit cleaner.

This is a legitimate question and yet every time it comes up, all the smart a**es come out from under their crankcases. The fact of the matter is that hood seals do serve a purpose. For one thing, they keep water from collecting on an aftermarket intake such as the Blackwing or Halltech Stinger when driving in the rain (God forbid) or washing your car. So enough already with the sarcasm.

I can hardly keep my car on the road, with all the extra power!
Actually, as has been said before, it IS worth it because it keeps the engine bay cleaner.

Keeps engine bay cleaner.
Extra HP?
You can get the same thing at any auto parts store. It's just generic weather stripping.

well, HP.. no, of course not.
but helps keep the dust out.. and water out from when you wash. this is important if you have an open/cone filter

Same old jokes. Does anyone still laugh at this stuff? At least come up with some new material. The thing helps keeps dirt out of the engine bay- no more, no less.

Some feel it is a waste of money, but I installed one on my car and it did seem to help keep dust out of the engine bay and it also kept water from dropping down onto my Blackwing air filter.
