I wouldn't mind owning two Vettes, even if they were of the same generation.

I guess the saying goes 2 heads are always better than one -in this case 2 vettes is better than 1

I plan to save up enough to buy a C6 Z06. That way I will have the best of both worlds. I classy C5 verte for the Florida lifestyle my wife and I enjoy and the ***** out Z06 for the Corvette lifestyle that I enjoy!
But do you know how many C6 ZR-1's are going to be sold used probably not a whole lot, so like you, maybe in the distant future when I can park both Vettes in my garage. Hmmmm maybe it's time for a lift

Well, that guy sure has some money to burn. Same with NNLI8R - 2 C5's,1 C6 Z06 and a SSR brrrrr it's getting cold here again -you know shivers down the spine

you know I hate you right now - just kidding nice stable...........

Anyway the butt of the silver vette has some black, is that aftermarket or does it come like that from the factory?
Well I wouldn't go that far - don't get me wrong - I understand that you want to keep your Vette but living above your means - is not the way to go. If I were you, I'd sell the vette, -find a new job and buy another one when you can actually afford a new or used one -otherwise you're just digging a whole and burying yourself....

That black on the lower valance is 100% homegrown DIY ( do it yourself)
Here's a thread about it................

and 3 is better than two...

I have a QS '01 Vert MN6 that I inherited from my wife because her arthiritis made her give up the manual transmission.
We bought her an '04 A4 to replace hers.
We also have an '08 Z-06 for trips as the hatchback ahs a lot more luggage room than the Vert.

I got a second C5 because I wasn't about to let the wife drive mine. Now she has her own which I still mod because hey, do you blame me?

I currently have my automatic C5 coupe (which was an intentional choice as a daily commuter...shifting with coffee in hand always leads to bad days!), and I see a C6 in my near future. I'll just have to make very sure NOT to get red.....

Torch Red 2001 C5 Coupe (my commuter)
Rio Red 1995 Mustang Cobra (my heavily modded toy!)
Redline Red 2004 350Z (Brother's car)
TrueRed 2008 MazdaSpeed3 (Hubby's commuter)
"GMC Red" 1993 Ramcharger (Gramp's old truck we inherited!)

Yeah....no more red.....

All you got left to get capevette is a C-4, C-6 and a ZR1. I am envious and

I like the cyber gray C-6 of yamahajo's, nice pick!

My next one, wherever that will be, a C-3, 1969 or if I can't afford that then a 73.

I bought the A4 as a dd and so the wife could drive it ( she doesn't drive manual) but she snagged it as her own after her first taste so I ended up buying an H3. One of these days I'd like to add a C6 Z and a BB chrome-bumper shark.

I was seriously considering an '02 or '03 A4 Electron Blue convertible for the wife - but she put the kabash on that idea. Then I thought - how about an '04 Z16 Z06? She didn't like that idea either.

So we wound up with an '07 Cadillac SRX V8 - she's happy, I like the SRX, it's much more practical.....but I still would like a Z16......one of these days maybe.
