Any KB owners have a suggestion for where hook up the boost gauge line???
But you have to relocate your oil pressure sensor, believe me,if it goes out you will have to pull the whole blower off,you cannot get to it by cutting the hole above it,its simple to do,just extend your wires, thats what i did and it works great, some have done it other ways but I don't know why they did it that way.I just had Jeff put a new cam in mine Now I feel like I have alot more power, can't wait to use it on someone.you'll love the power that the KB gives.
Well tonight I checked with the help of a childs smaller hand and found that I have trapped the cam sensor postion wires between the motor and the bellhousing. This is the problem I believe . The motor would run perfect at first because the wires while compressed but were still working. As the motor heated up it melted and grounded the cam position wires to the block. That's when the motor would die. After it cooled the ground was disrupted and the motor would start until it heated up to 177 and now it has completely melted the protective covering around the wires and now the Cam sensor will not send a message to the PCM thus no spark......PCM will not send fire without input from Cam Postrion Sensor
I must remove the SC and fix the cam position wires behind the motor........
THE LESSON DO NOT INSTALL THE SC/INTAKE UNTIL THE MOTOR IS IN THE CAR....CHECK WIRES OIL PRESSURE / CAM SENSOR / VACUUM LINE ECT AND THEN INSTALL SC. I will post pictures as I disassemble what a PAIN !!!!!!!

Thankfully, it's not your daily driver so you have lots of timeto figure things out.
I have always found it best, to sit back a day or two and think things over and come up with an action plan, then to just dive in.
Hopefully, the wiring harness is not damaged to bad that it can't be easily fixed.
WhenI swap my motor out I.m going to drop the entire drive train in one shot and install it one piece to avoid the same pitfall that you had.
There's not a lot of room to work in there (firewall) unless the heads and intake are removed.
Well today I repaired my damaged cam sensor wires. 8 hours of hard work and it starts!!!!! Here is where I started the repair.
This is what I found
See the loop of wire going into the back of the motor. It is right near the 10mm retaining bolt. The wire next to the bolt is the other end of the loop that has the connector on it that attaches to the cam sensor

Well tommorrow is odds and ends day and I will post a video once things are cleaned up. I really don't want to ever take that blower off again Cheers
Im glad you got it fixed man. It would have sucked it you did all that work and had to bring it to me for something so simple. Let me know when your ready for the tune and ill schedule you in.
Well after fixing odds and ends I got her started today. Here is the video sorry about the quality having so camera issues but who has time for that when you have a vette???
It's rolling out of the garage today. Seems to run okay. Transmission temps are to low to run today. It's 20 degrees so just rolled her out and took a short run around the block. You can here the whine of the supercharger. It seems to have alot of torque. Check out my 14 year old grandson driving
