i love the hood and get a ton of compliments on it. I heard alot of bad things about fit and finish before i bought it so i did my homework. I called RK direct and spoke with Sean and he told me in the past there was fitment issues but assured me i would be fine. I am happy with the fitment and have no complaints. The top of the hood comes in a nice gray gel coat. The bottom however will need some attention and its not even close to being finished and paint ready.
I got the hood from Rk but forum member and supporting vendor SICMSP is selling them as well.
It cost me 850.00 to have it painted like you see. I did make my own custom black powder coated screens for the hood"nostrils" with the help of Racemesh prividing me the screen to match my front screens.

From my understand the company that made that hood is no longer in business some family incident shut the company down I believe the guy who made the hood is dead.

The owner has past, but his wife still runs the company...

This is not a Vancor hood. This is from a company in PA. Fiberconcepts. Fit and finish are outstanding. It replaced an ACI hood that took almost a hole day to align and I was never satisfied.. This hood was installed and alligned in 15 minutes. e-mail me if you need more info jrburb@comcast.net

Apologies,,, I was posting information on the original stinger as pictured on the blue C5 wide body that Dennis posted for the OP. Seems the OP likes D's anyway. Can't blame em
Man I like that blue car! A bit Bias though, I own it. Vanacor was the person I purchased the skin from. Yes Dennis did pass away, and Diane had only a skin left when I called her. Call down you never know?
